Data and freshness
Which values are cached and which checks run before a transaction.
Browsing data
Pool browsing, discovery results and wallet-position views are cached for five minutes; homepage token rankings are cached for ten minutes. Reopening a recent page can therefore show the same snapshot.
Market refreshes are triggered by requests while the site is in use. If nobody requests data, there is no scheduled market polling. A failed refresh keeps the previous successful listing available.
| View | Cache window | How to refresh |
|---|---|---|
| Pool browsing and discovery | 5 minutes | Request the view after expiry |
| Homepage ranking | 10 minutes | Request after expiry; refresh runs in the background |
| Wallet positions | 5 minutes | Use Refresh positions for an explicit read |
| Quote preview pool state | Up to 2 seconds | Change the amount or request a new preview |
| Executable transaction plan | Fresh reads | Prepared again before signing |
What the ranking covers
Homepage candidates come from GeckoTerminal’s active Robinhood pool feeds and are ranked by aggregate indexed liquidity per community token. The pool explorer uses each individual pool’s indexed USD liquidity.
This is a tracked set, not a complete list of every token or pool. Unvalued pools appear after valued ones and show an unavailable value rather than zero. Quote-only and official-asset-only markets are excluded from the default community list.
Transaction checks use current state
Before preparing an executable deposit, Flea reads the pool state, wallet balances and allowances again, verifies supported execution contracts and simulates the call. Cached browsing amounts are not the transaction authority.
Completed preparation steps can change balances and allowances, so the plan is prepared again after wrapping or approval. A changed amount, range or liquidity expectation can require another review.
Reading older data
The displayed update time is the time of the underlying ranking snapshot. During a provider outage, it can be older than the normal cache window.
Scrolling follows a fixed listing snapshot so changing ranks do not duplicate or skip rows between pages. A new browsing session can use a newer snapshot.
